Fair-weather church?

Just heard this morning that the church service in Kristiansand today might be cancelled or just a small group attending.

It's Pentecost Sunday here in Norway... and "the churches might be pretty empty or the time of the service changed to the evening".
Why?
It's nice weather, a long holiday weekend. People want to be outside.

But... it's a "Church Holiday"... right?!

Well, I'm going anyways... I'm filling my car with the Africans and S.Americans from the class. We'll go and gather with those that do come to worship.

Maybe the churches are really full on rainy, cloudy days....?

Wild Ride

It's amazing to live on an island... seeing the sea each day, hearing the seagulls, always windy, boats coming and going, starfish, jellyfish, crabs for Honey to chase.
It's amazing to be here at this time, with these people from all over the world, seeking God, finding God. Each day is different, each story...
And, it's only the first week of the Leaders Training Seminar... 5 more to come.
It's a wild ride... following God each day.
